Meet Anna-Marie

Anna-Marie Watson is a coach, author and podcaster with over 25 years’ international experience crafting a dynamic portfolio career. She holds a postgraduate certificate in applied coaching from the University of Derby and master’s in teaching from the University of Sydney.

 

Shaped by her time within the British Army serving on three active operational tours and elite ultra-running career she’s spent time in the toughest environments on our planet. From frosty Arctic tundra, high Himalayan peaks and searing hot Central Asian deserts she’s lived, slept and breathed the rawness of life and death. 

 

A recognised thought-leader in outdoor and nature coaching her podcasts the Coaching Outdoors Podcast and Rooted and Rising have brought her into dialogue with over a hundred practitioners to amass a rare encyclopaedic knowledge. 

 

In her mission to encourage other coaches reimagine their philosophy and practice in relationship with nature she’s curated events for the International Coaching Federation, Association for Coaching, British Psychological Society and Henley Business School. Her work is published in The Coaching Handbook (Routledge), Succeeding as a Coach (Pavilion Publishing) and The Outdoor and Nature Coaches Handbook (Routledge - upcoming).
